Student Resources

School Library

We have a fully comprehensive library, incorporating both educational and recreational reading materials. The library is located in the reception area of the school.

Multi-Media Room

Students can use the Multi-Media room between 13.30 and 17.00 each day. Students are scheduled for a period of thirty (30) minutes. They can avail of our free email and free Internet access to keep in touch with their friends and family.

Student Lounge

In the main building we have a student lounge where student can relax, chat or have a cup of coffee with their friends.

DVD Rental

CEC operates a DVD rental service. Students can pay a rental deposit at Reception and can then take DVDs home to watch.
This is an idea way to improve both listening comprehension and expend vocabulary.

Hot Drinks / Vending machines

The main building has a drinks dispenser as well as a vending machine for snacks.

E-Learning

CEC students have access to the CEC E-Learning Platform. This allows students to using their individual skills by logging in to the system using their individual student number.
Using this system students can focus on improving their own problem areas.

Social Activity Programme

CEC students can join the activities or excursions offered as part of the CEC activity programme. Most of the activiies are free of charge and allows students the opportunity to practise their English in more relaxed surrondings. It also allows students to learn about Irish history and culture.
