Accommodation
Finding the right accommodation to suit you is an integral part of attending Cork English College. Every individual has different needs, which is why we have such a wide range to choose from. You can stay with a host family or in a self-catering apartment. You can check into a hotel or take a room in a B & B. We go to great lengths to select our accommodation providers and you can rest assured that they have all passed our rigorous selection procedure. All you have to do is let us know what you want and we’ll take care of the rest.

Host Family Accommodation Standard
Students stay with families who have been with Cork English College for many years. Each adult student has their own bedroom. Accommodation is half board (breakfast and evening meal) during the week and full board (all meals) at the weekend. All transfers on arrival and departure are included in the homestay accommodation option. Each student has their own bathroom and shares a bathroom.
Host Family Accommodation Executive
Students stay with families who have been with Cork English College for many years. Each adult student has their own bedroom. Accommodation is half board (breakfast and evening meal) during the week and full board (all meals) at the weekend. All transfers on arrival and departure are included in the homestay accommodation option. Each student has their own room and bathroom.
Residential Apartments (Ensuite)
These are available in the months of July and August.
They are self-catering and consist of 5 or 6 bedrooms per apartment, with a shared kitchen and the student has their own bathroom facilities. Bed linen can be hired from the apartments but students must bring their own towels. All kitchen utensils, crockery etc. are provided and laundry facilities are available. There is a computer room on the premises and broadband in all rooms. Apartments are cleaned on a weekly basis. The campus is based just 15 minutes from the school and is close to transport and local amenities.
Residential Apartments (Standard)
These are available in the months of July and August.
They are self-catering and consist of 5 or 6 bedrooms per apartment, with a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Bed linen can be hired from the apartments but students must bring their own towels. All kitchen utensils, crockery etc. are provided and laundry facilities are available. There is a computer room on the premises and broadband in all rooms. Apartments are cleaned on a weekly basis. The campus is based just 15 minutes from the school and is close to transport and local amenities.
Two Bed Apartments
We have one or two bedroom apartments ideally located in the city centre. These apartments offer both comfort and privacy in the heart of Cork city centre and are ideal for students who demand the convenience of city-living. They are very comfortable, safe and clean and are available for a minimum 2-week stay. Each apartment consists of open plan kitchen/living area with all cooking facilities, bathroom with shower, TV and central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. A selection of apartments include internet access (rates are provided upon arrival to the apartments).
One Bedroom Apartments
We have one or two bedroom apartments ideally located in the city centre. These apartments offer both comfort and privacy in the heart of Cork city centre and are ideal for students who demand the convenience of city-living. They are very comfortable, safe and clean and are available for a minimum 2-week stay. Each apartment consists of open plan kitchen/living area with all cooking facilities, bathroom with shower, TV and central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided. Self-Catering Apartments (Twin)
Shared apartments are self-catering and offer all mod cons. The student has the use of a single or twin room shared kitchen and living room. Bed linen is provided on arrival. The apartments have laundry facilities and a TV. There may be other students living in the same apartment or the students may be sharing with Irish people who are working in Cork. All occupants in {image2}the apartment are expected to keep the apartment clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned upon departure for the next arrival. The apartments are based within the city centre so they are close to all amenities.
Self-Catering Apartments (single)
Shared apartments are self-catering and offer all mod cons. The student has the use of a single or twin room shared kitchen and living room. Bed linen is provided on arrival. The apartments have laundry facilities and a TV. There may be other students living in the same apartment or the students may be sharing with Irish people who are working in Cork. All occupants in {image2}the apartment are expected to keep the apartment clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned upon departure for the next arrival. The apartments are based within the city centre so they are close to all amenities.
Hotels, Bed & Breakfast, Guesthouses and Hostels
