Ministay Study Programme
Course Code :MS115 HF (Host Family) or MS115 RES-GH (Residential Option) or MS 115 RES-YH (Youth Hostel Option)
The above courses are designed for secondary school students who wish to study English in a native setting. The course will consist of an initial interview, testing and needs analysis. Clients will learn all the essential areas of language & grammar in addition to an introduction to idioms and phrasal verbs. Word-stress and specific pronunciation problems of each student will be dealt with along with reading, writing, speaking, listening skills. Each course is concluded with a student performance review, feedback and tips for future learning.
Course Includes:
- 20 Lessons per week 09.00 - 12.15 (Mon - Fri)
- Use of schoolbooks and all pedagogical material
- Maximum 13 - 15 pupils per class
- Certificate at end of Course
- Optional Afternoon Social and Cultural Programme
- Transfers to and from Cork Airport
- (Host Family) Full-Board Host Family Accommodation (2 students per family)
- (Host Family) Mon-Fri: Breakfast, packed lunch, and dinner
- (Host Family) Sat & Sun: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- (Residential Option) Full-board residential accomodation -Twin/Triple Rooms
- (Residential Option) 4*exclusive guesthouse located 5 minutes walk from the college
