Teacher Refresher Course
Course Code :TR 111 - PSA
Our two-week teacher training programme offers 50 hours of practical training in the most up to date teaching techniques while also helping participants to improve their own language skills. Participants explore a wide range of topics including teaching methodology, exploiting and adapting materials,, the increased role of technology in the language classroom, classrooom management and approaches and activities for teaching all language areas and skills, in addition to teaching observation sessions followed by feedback meetings. Classes on Irish history, culture and the Irish educational system in addition to a full social and activity programme also form part of this intensive and dynamic course. Course Includes:
- 25 Lessons per week. Each Lesson = 60 minutes
- Use of all pedagogical material
- Maximum 15 participants per class
- Certificate at the end of the course
- Afternoon Social and Cultural Programme
- Evening Social Programme
- Transfers to and from Cork Airport (If host family accommodation arranged)
