The Business English and BULATS preparation course is perfect for students of business or those working in a company environment who wish to receive an internationally recognised certificate of achievement. The Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) is used to measure the ability of non-native English-speaking people to implement English in everyday working situations. The test is suitable for learners at all levels, as it tests ability not level. Students attend Business English Classes in the morning and BULATS preparation classes in the afternoon.This course allows employees to acquire a level of English which will help them to maximise their company’s competitive advantage. The test provides a global benchmark for language skills in the workplace. The test is carried out online and results are immediate.
Course Content:
- Analysis of a variety of grammar structures concentrating on their use in business English and the BULATS test
- Extending learners’ knowledge of business and work related terms
- Development of learners’ business communication skills and developing their overall communicative competence
- Familiarisation with the structure of the exam and helpful hints for each part of the exam to help learners maximise their score
Course Includes:
- 28 Lessons per week. Each Lesson = 60 minutes
- Average 6 – 8 students per class (Max 10)
- Afternoon Social and Cultural Programme including Evening Social Programme
- Certificate at end of Course
- Transfers to and from Cork Airport (If host family accommodation arranged)
